Mix together coconut oil, ground coffee, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla essential oil, leave for 40 minutes to set… Smells yummmy!
You can apply it on dry or damp skin to get your blood flow going for glowing skin, get rid of dead skin cells, and even improve cellulite as it contains caffeine from the coffee which is effective! What’s better is you can store it in a massive jar to use at another time.
Don’t put too much cinnamon, as it can irritate your skin, so only a sprinkle!
Use it on your legs and arms as it might be too strong for more sensitive areas of the skin
This is so delicious, unique and magical. It’s my new best friend…
It also contains maca, which is an indigenous food, grown in Peru (I will be writing more about indigenous foods in the future!)
1 can coconut milk (with high percentage of coconut-check the ingredients)
1 tbsp maca powder
1 tbsp honey
water to achieve desired consistency
Blend all in a blender and enjoyyyy…
-7 dates (soaked in milk overnight)
-1/4 teaspoon cocoa powder (so it doesn’t over power the flavour)
-milk or coconut milk to achieve desired consistency
-1.5 tsp honey
This is guaranteed to be the best rice pudding you’ve ever tried!
– 1 cup pudding rice, washed and soaked in water for 15 minutes
– 3/4 cup caster sugar
– 5 mastic gum, grinded in a mortar (this is not arabica gum and it can be found in Greek and Middle Eastern stores)
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 1 cup water
-2 cups of milk (I used Jersey milk, which is a rich, creamy milk from Jersey cows)
– 1 cup double cream
– 4 tbsp of butter
– 1 tsp vanilla essence
– 1/4 cup sultanas
– 1 stick of cinnamon
– A heat resistant bowl with lid
Pour the milk, cream, water, sugar, butter, salt, and mastic in a heat resistant bowl. Drain the rice and add to the mixture, mixing together with a spoon. Add sultanas to the and drop in the cinnamon stick. Place in oven at around 140-150 degrees for one hour. Remove the lid and mix it lightly with a spoon to ensure that all of the ingredients are mixed. Finally, cover with lid and leave for another hour. Ensure that the rice is cooked before serving. You can eat this hot, or cold! Delicious!
This is super easy to do and super tasty!
– seeds from 1/2 a pomegranate
– goat’s cheese
-1 small baguette
-1 small onion (preferably red)
*The proportions rely on the amount of baguette you are using. The above are suitable for 1 small baguette.
If you have a grill, place the baguette in between the plates on a low heat setting so it gets thinner without burning. Alternatively, you can slice the baguette in two lengthways. In a pan, fry the onion in a bit of olive oil until golden. Scatter on top of the baguette and top with goat cheese slices. Place in the microwave on a high heat for just a few seconds until the cheese is hot and bubbling (make sure to watch the microwave to avoid over-bubbling and runny cheese!). Top with pomegranate seeds. Enjoy
-1 scoop/serving of protein powder
-1/2 cup oats
-4 tbsp Greek yoghurt
-milk to achieve desired consistency

– Add your favourite berries!
